At Porsche's 'Embracing Equity - Dare to Dream' event, held in honour of International Women’s Day, Alison Edgar took the stage with her trademark blend of wit and wisdom. Alison, known for her knack for storytelling, shared insights and anecdotes during her 30-minute slide-less keynote, pathing the way for an informative Q&A session to follow.
Following the session, Alison remained at the event, immersing herself in conversations with delegates, sharing personal experiences, and offering invaluable advice, as well as sharing copies of her book with the audience.
The Mission
Porsche launched a campaign called 'Driven by Dreams' to connect with new audiences. The campaign's centerpiece was a bold piece of Digital Art inspired by Ferry Porsche's original dream. This artwork, blending technology with animation, vividly showcased how dreams bridge imagination with reality.
While the campaign targeted 'Driven Females' and resonated with their passion for art and Video-on-Demand, its appeal extended to all. By focusing on brand awareness, Porsche aimed to reach diverse audiences and inspire them to dream big, just like they do.
Backstage Prep
After connecting with the event organiser and reviewing the event brief, Alison and her team sprang into action. They collaborated behind the scenes to tailor a captivating talk for the session. Opting for a keynote format, they decided to forgo slides and instead orchestrated an acoustic session. Alison's goal was clear: to share her story in a raw and intimate manner, aiming to inspire both the women and allies in the audience.
The Result
The result of this session was a resounding success. Without the slides, Alison's acoustic keynote session resonated deeply with the audience, sparking genuine engagement and connection.
